I loved the stunning view of the loch from my room at The Galley of Lorne Inn. The restaurant setup was beautiful, and the food blew me away, especially the fish, just amazing. Staff were incredibly friendly and made everything more enjoyable. finding the entrance was tricky at first, and the bar stools were uncomfortable, which made sitting there less pleasant. My room felt a bit cramped, and the pillows weren't the best quality. the ambiance was nice, but these small inconveniences affected my stay.

The views were stunning the dining room had a wall of windows overlooking the loch which was mesmerizing during sunset. The staff were polite and really went out of their way to make us comfortable especially during breakfast when they made sure we had everything we needed.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still reasonable for what we got.

Had an awesome time with friends walking the Kintyre Way. We explored Tarbert and Skipness and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The staff were super helpful, and the bar had a great vibe. Rooms were comfy and warm! Perfect base after a long day of hiking.
One downside was the breakfast service. it was a bit slow, and the quality could be improved. Just a small hiccup in an otherwise fantastic stay.

Stunning views and warm hospitality
I had a lovely one-night stay in the Standard Double Room, Uist, which offered breathtaking views of the loch. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. Dinner was delightful, especially the fresh fish, which was a highlight of the evening. The only downside was the seating in the bar, which could be more comfortable.

missingWrote a review on Aug 09dirty kettle
Unfortunately, the dirty kettle in our room left a bad first impression, and the view from our window was of a gas tank, not the picturesque landscape one might expect. While the room had a modern bathroom, the uncomfortable bed made it hard to get a good night's rest. Breakfast starts a bit late for early risers, limiting our time for activities. A few extra staff would likely help with the breakfast rush and overall cleanliness.
